The Derwent River Adventure Experience is a 3.5 hour kayaking tour for the adventurers. Paddle downstream through grade 2 rapids into the mighty Derwent and take in sweeping views of the iconic Wellington Range, pass under historic railway bridges and perhaps even see a platypus, a sea eagle or some acrobatic trout before stopping for a fresh gourmet riverside lunch.

Twilight Tour

Perfect for first timers, the Twilight Tour begins with a 1.5 hour self-guided tour of the breathtaking Derwent River and ends at the Derwent Valley’s Farm Bar, where you’ll enjoy a gourmet selection platter with a complimentary beer, ale or cider.

Lake Pedder Tour

Lake Pedder is our premium tour for guests who prefer to sit back and soak in the beauty of six hundred thousand hectares of wild, inspiring country. This tour includes morning tea, a short walk through an ancient myrtle forest and spectacular mountain views of the Arthur and Franklin Ranges. Feast on a gourmet lunch prepared by our fully qualified chef after a 1.5 hour guided kayaking trip in the calm and pristine waters of Lake Pedder. For those who are interested, there will also be an opportunity to explore Camp Florentine, the longest running blockade in Tasmania’s history.
